(Singapore, May 14, 2020 PRNewswire=연합뉴스) Perrier-sponsored list of the 50 best Asian bars in 2020 was announced at the virtual awards ceremony at 19:00 on the 14th of this month. Korea has four bars on the list, one of which is Bar Cham (50th). Meanwhile, Singapore's Jigger & Pony took first place and won the best bar award in Asia.
50 Best decided to announce the 2020 list after consultation with the industry in order to reward the corona19 crisis and promote positiveness. 50 Best prepares for a day of recovery from an unprecedented pandamic situation and joins the global bar community. Other special awards include Manhattan (Michter's Art of Hospitality Award) in Singapore, Bar Trigona in Malaysia (Ketel One Sustainability Bar Award), Jay Khan in Coa in Hong Kong (Altos Bartenders' Bartender Award), and No Sleep Club in Singapore (Campari Promising Award), Taiwan's Indulge Experimental Bistro (Heering Legend), Singapore's The Old Man (London Essence's Best New Bar Award), Japan's Bee's Knees (Disaronno Highest's First Prize Bar Award), Taiwan's Bar Mood (Seedlip) And the bar with the highest ranking to be sponsored).
In Korea this year, Charles H (29th place, Mancino Vermouth sponsored the best Korean bar award), Alice (47th place), Le Chamber (49th place), and the first time this year Bar Cham (50th place), who went up to the top, won four bars in honor.
