국내 주요 기업의 하반기 공채가 한창인 가운데 외국계 기업 채용도 활발하게 이뤄지고 있다. 외국계 기업은 정규직 공채보다 인턴십을 통한 채용이 많은 것이 특징이다. 글로벌 헤드헌팅기업 켈리서비스의 오문숙 전무는 “외국계 기업은 인턴십, 아르바이트 등의 과정을 거쳐 역량과 태도가 뛰어난 사람을 재고용하는 사례가 많다”며 “작은 인턴 경험이라도 붙잡을 필요가 있다”고 조언했다.
패션 브랜드 유니클로를 운영하는 에프알엘코리아는 오는 24일부터 점장후보자를 모집한다. 점장후보자는 전국 매장에서 근무할 매니저(UMC)와 광주·대전지역 매니저(URM) 두 직군으로 나눠 뽑는다. 이수빈 유니클로 채용담당자는 “지역 매니저는 지역 밀착형 경영자로서 해당 지역에서 오랜 기간 거주했거나 대학을 졸업한 사람이면 지원할 수 있다”고 말했다. 유니클로의 채용전형 중 특이한 점은 온라인 면접과 ‘피팅유’라고 일컫는 8일간의 실습이다. 온라인 면접은 유니클로 채용 홈페이지에 접속해 제시된 질문을 지원자가 답변하는 것으로 이뤄진다. 내년 1월 중순 시행되는 실습 프로그램 피팅유는 지원자 스스로가 실습을 통해 이 업무가 나와 맞는지를 평가하는 시간이다.
글로벌 화장품기업 로레알코리아는 ‘2019 겨울인턴’을 뽑는다. 입사 지원서는 로레알코리아 채용 홈페이지에서 다음달 2일까지 접수한다. 로레알코리아는 입사지원서를 1~3분 분량의 자기소개 동영상으로 대체하는 것이 특징이다. 영상 제작은 한국어, 영어 모두 가능하다. 영상 주제와 관련해 박준영 로레알코리아 인사팀 대리는 “왜 내가 코스메틱산업에 지원하는지, 왜 로레알코리아인지, 왜 이 직무인지에 관한 내용을 담으면 된다”고 조언했다. 박 대리는 “화장품산업은 빠르게 변하는 것이 특징”이라며 “변화를 즐기고 도전하는 인재에게 적합한 회사”라고 강조했다.
응용소프트웨어 개발 공급기업인 한국IBM도 ‘와일드 블루 신입공채’를 하고 있다. 20일 온라인 직무적성시험을 치른다. 문제는 영어로 출제되며 총 36문항으로 문제당 2분15초의 제한시간이 있다. 클릭 오류가 3회 이상이면 자동 탈락하기 때문에 주의해야 한다. 기술직 지원자는 별도의 코딩테스트도 있다. 김경원 한국IBM채용팀 과장은 “IBM이 찾는 인재는 디지털, 융합형, 감정지능을 갖추면서 데이터 활용능력이 뛰어난 사람”이라고 강조했다.
KOTRA는 다음달 8일 서울 그랜드인터컨티넨탈호텔에서 외국인투자기업 취업상담회를 연다. 글로벌기업 92곳이 참여해 현장에서 면접을 치른다. 면접을 원하는 지원자는 23일까지 IKW 사이트에서 이력서를 등록하면 된다.

LOREAL Korea, the global cosmetic company, will recruit the ‘2019 winter interns.’ Resumes can be accpetd by 2nd Nov. in LOREAL Korea hompage. LOREAL Korea substitutes accepting written resumes to 1-3 minutes video resume. Applicants can make the video resume either in Korean or English. About the content of video resume, Junyoung Park, LOREAL Korea HR manager, said “You have to talk ‘why do I apply for the cosmetic industry,’ ‘why did I choose LOREAL Korea,’ and ‘How can I fit in the positions’ in video resume.” Also, he emphasized “The cosmetic industry should respond to the fast trend change. If you enjoy change and adventure, you might be welcomed to our company.”
IBM Korea, the global software development company, is now on the ‘Wild Blue recruitment’ season. Online IBM aptitude test will be on the 20th Oct. 36 questions are on the test, and all questions are written in English. Also, applicants should keep in mind the 2 points; one is that the time limit of one question is about 2 minutes and 15 seconds, and the other is that there can be automatically dropped out of the online aptitude test when you have the click errors more than 3 times. Kyeongwon Kim, IBM Korea HR manager, emphasized “IBM Korea finds the people who are digital native and have complex problem solving, emothinal intelligence and data literacy.”
In 8th Nov, KOTRA will hold ‘IKW 2018 Job Fair’ at Seoul Intercontinental Hotel. At this job fair, 92 global companies will give participants the job interview opportunity. If you want to have job interview in the job fair, apply your resume in IKW online site through 23rd Oct.
